The Das-McLuhan Wedding

Though she passed away in 2001, the time I had with my mom was nothing less than a privilege and honor.  My mom was the first opportunity I had to see a Godly wife up close and personal.  While I did receive some of her physical characterestics, I hardly take after her in personality.  This challenges me to hold her memory in my heart, that I might remember the purity of her gentleness and goodness as I become a wife and pray that I did indeed receive some Marie-qualities.  It breaks my heart that she won't be there to help with my dress and watch me walk down the aisle, but I hold her ever-so-close as the "BIG" moments in life come and go.  Thank you mom for teaching me how to better prepare myself for Aaron, you led through gracious example and are forever loved.
