Zoe grew up as a missionary kid to Derryck and Marie McLuhan. The McLuhan's moved to Atlanta in 1994 where Zoe completed her secondary education. After graduating from Lee University in 2005, Zoe began to pursue her calling to missions. She raised support, went to language school, and was on a one-track road headed straight to Colombia, South America. Little did she know that God had a little something extra planned for her...
His Story
Aaron was born and raised in India. When he was eight his family moved to the States where he finished school. He graduated from Emmanuel College with a degree in Business Administration in 2006. After working at a bank for a year and a half Aaron felt the missions "tug" and began to pursue what all that might mean. He participated briefly in a YWAM DTS in Maui, HI and then a mission's internship in Honduras for two months. BUT, before the HI trip, he came to know a certain young lady...
The Matchmakers...
I suppose that in a way, we are a product of eHarmony because that is where our matchmakers met. Austin and Nicki Overstreet have their own story to tell but it is through the two of them and their wedding that Aaron and Zoe met.
