Hola from Colombia! Zoe and I have had an amazing opportunity to spend some time together in Bogota. We've done many touristy things and had some amazing food, but....1 thing that we've really started to work on is wedding planning. Good thing that Zoe has had the last 24 years to start planning for this great event, at least thats how it looks like from her many notes and such....or maybe I'm just a normal guy and totally oblivious to all the hard work and time that goes into planning an awesome wedding. Whatever it may be, I am so thankful and blessed to have such an awesome person who is VERY GOOD at planning our wedding.

Zoe here-I may be little miss organization queen (thank you very much heather kennedy and felice smith)...but this is just plain difficult. I'm only at the brainstorming and research part of the wedding-planning and already the long-distance is proving itself difficult. The location is the toughest to conquer so far. Everything I like is WAY out of my price range or free but unavailable. Hey-if any of you ATL people have ideas, PLEASE speak up!!! Next come the decoration issues and food. Oh goodness, I could go on. I'm still enjoying it, its just taking more problem-solving skills than I thought I would need.

In the past week we have found a wedding location, changed the wedding date, added our final member of the wedding party, found a place to live after the wedding, and found out that part of the reception food will be taken care of! Things are coming together....stay tuned!
We're now at less than four months until the happy day! I'm starting to really get into the planning of things. Of course the more I plan, the more I realize I still have to do. But its fun getting everything together, making all the contacts, scheduling all the appointments, buying dresses for the showers, and finishing up the guest list. I'm having a hard time balancing work and wedding stuff. If I'm not careful, I can get pretty carried away.
Aaron was here for a visit but then left on Tuesday which was a big bummer. We'll be seeing each other in 2 months and are holding our breath! It must be true that absence makes the heart grow fonder. I'm just not sure how much more my heart can grow!
