Our Wedding Website

We got engaged on Feb. 12th, 2009. After Jessica finished a really hard exam at school, she went to Adam's house for dinner and to celebrate Valentine's Day. She suspected that he was planning something, because he had been blocking her from seeing what was in a room in his house for a while. We had been talking about marriage, so she wondered if this could be the night!

Adam picked Jessica up after waiting in Columbus all day for the perfect ring to be finished. We went to his house and ate an awesome dinner of homemade lasagna. When it was time to exchange gifts, Adam gave her what he had been working on in the secret room - a scrapbook of photos of them, along with cute things he had written. The last page of the book said she needed to bundle up so they could go outside. We went outside to look at the stars for a while - just as we had done with friends shortly after meeting. As we were starting to get up to go inside, Jessica stood up while Adam stayed close to the ground. He got on one knee and told her that, in the place where we had started our friendship, he wanted to talk about the rest of our lives. Then he asked her to marry him. She said yes and accepted the beautiful ring, a cushion-shaped diamond in white gold with round side stones.

We decided to wait a while before making wedding plans, but that didn't last long - we soon changed our minds and set the date! We've been busy ever since, planning both the wedding and our married life together!
