Our Anniversary Webstie

Chris and I were married on September 23, 2004 at high noon on a lake in Florida. It was just us and the officiant. We decided to have a big reception on an anniversary. Well, our 5th anniversary is coming up this fall, so we decided to have our party! We have chosen the Gatlinburg area because it is a central location for both our families and friends. I have looked at a blue million cabins online and have gotten a few ideas, but we have not made a decision yet. We will let you know as soon as we find out. Thanks for being there for us!

We have reserved the Big Timber Lodge, an 8 bedroom cabin, for our party. Please let us know if youare going to be able to come or not. I still need to plan for food. Thanks so much!

Okay, so I am trying to finalize our plans for the party. As of right now, we have one private bedroom still available. There are also sofa beds and a set of queen bunks. We are going to get the exact directions 7 days before the check-in. Stay posted for those. If you know you are coming, please call Chris or I and ask about bedrooms. If you want more privacy, we can check out close hotels. We will be checking in on Friday and the party will be Saturday night around 6. We are doing BBQ and sides for dinner on Saturday night. We will have snack and breakfast foods available and will be doing hamburgers and hot dogs, too. I think Friday night is going to be a do your own thing night. We will have food at the cabin, or you can go out. I think that some of us are going to the Old Mill Restuarant to eat. Again, if you have any questions or concerns, please email or call one of us. Also, if you have a food allergy, please let me know so we can avoid those foods. Thanks!

We have directions!!! When you get into the Pigeon Forge/ Gatlinburg area, the traffic lights are numbered. At light #3, turn right onto Wears Valley Rd and drive about 3.1 miles to Lost Branch Rd. Turn Left onto Lost Branch Rd and follow it 3/4 miles to Black Bear Cub Way. Turn right onto Black Bear Cub Way and follow it past Eagle Cloud Way to "Big Timber Lodge", which is on the left. The house # is 940. So, in a nutshell it is 940 Black Bear Cub Way. If you have any trouble finding it, please call Chris or me. We cannot check in until 3pm on Friday. We would like to have some time to get settled in, so we are asking our guests to plan on coming in after 4pm. Thanks so much and we can't wait to see everyone!
