Bec & Dave's Country Wedding

We want our wedding celebration to incorporate the celebration of two families joining together.  The weekend will not only be about attending a wedding but also about building relationships. 

A big family and friend reunion in the country.  Casual & Fun.  Heaps of fun, we hope, and unique!

Why we chose this venue

When we were looking at venues we found some beautiful places but we also tried to keep ourselves grounded and remind ourselves of the bigger picture.  There was a lot of boxes to tick.

Okay, the place looks a little like a school...but with a bit of imagination and DIY creativity (and a lot of fairy lights) we hope to create an atmosphere for everyone to have a great time!! 

It was a gem to find as they don't even have a website! However it is well known to locals who hold a lot of functions there.

After the ceremony the reception will be held at The Outlook.  There will be pre dinner savouries (Happy Hour)  & then a buffet meal prepared by a local country cook, Betty.  And don't forget Dessert!

We will provide beer, wine and soft drink (and probably a punch).  However as this venue is BYO, and it is a private function, please feel free to bring your favourite alcopop or whatever.  There is cool room space.

ALL ENQUIRIES are to come through to us as this venue is not a traditional wedding venue.  It is actually owned by the Department of Communities and is an Outdoor Recreation Training and Conference Facility.  We are hiring their venue for a private function outside of their normal office hours.
