Matron of Honor #1 - Luvy Macabulos

Luvy is the bride's long time best friend from Sydney, Australia. They've been best friends since Cheryl lived in Australia, 15 years ago. No matter the distance, every time they speak on the phone, or even see each other, its like Cheryl never left. It's a never ending laughter fit, everytime they speak. They can literally tell each other anything, they are each other's "closet of secrets." Luvy has been there for Cheryl ever since she can remember, and even though Cheryl wasn't able to make it to Luvy's wedding, Luvy is still flying half way across the world, leaving her husband and 2 children behind for a week, just so she can be there to witness Bert and Cheryl's Wedding.

Best Man #1 - Allen Geneta

Allen and the groom met way back in highschool during freshman year. It was at gym class while playing basketball that their friendship began. While going for a lay up, Allen had no idea that Bert was going to guard him really hard, in the process knocking him down on the floor hurting him. Bert came over and helped him get up and started talking in their native tongue lol. They got along really well after that and through highschool shared the same family values and friends. Even having their first job together helped them grow even closer. After they graduated high school, Allen went out to join the US navy for several years. They kept in touch and hung out when he came to visit. Although their lives have been different has time showed them. Allen is still considered as one of the grooms closest friend and a brother.

Matron of Honor #2 - Aimee Maglaya

Aimee is one of the bride's bestest friends and sister-in-law and heart. Cheryl and Aimee grew closer when the Maglaya's got transferred to Toronto in 2000. Even before it became official, they already felt like they were sisters. They are each other's piece of home away from home. They can understand each other when they have their mouths full of food, and mind you they do LOVE their food! They can understand each other with just a "look" haha. They've had so many great, fun, and memorable times. Too many too mention but they've been through so much together and its Aimee's advice of prayer that has gotten Cheryl through anything. Aimee is the first one Cheryl told about her "crush" on Bert and she was the one who pushed Cheryl to "talk" to him.. even though that never happened! :P

Best Man #2 - Hernard Garcia

Hernard is the brother of the groom. Growing up, Nard and the groom spent many fun memorable times during childhood. Learning to use their imagination helped them to learn about each other. There was one time they both wanted to build a slide inside their house made of pillows and sheets. Nard always volunteered in testing their extreme experiments, risking his life. He is a blessing to the family and to the many wonderful people who's lives he touched. Although he's a man with few words, his heart says everything about him.

Bridesmaid - Emily Santiago

Emily is one of the bride's best friends. They've known each other for 10 years. Emily has been there for Cheryl through some of the toughest times. Cheryl can always count on Emily for anything. Even after Cheryl moved to Vancouver, Emily continued to keep in touch, especially on BBM! When you move from a place, and don't see your friends as often, its the ones who make it like you never left when you see each other again, who matter the most and make a difference. Emily has seen Bert and Cheryl's engagement coming even before it came.

Groomsman - Herald Garcia

Rald is the Grooms baby brother.Growing up, Herald was a bit of a spoiled little brat :) since hes the youngest of the family; everything was in his favor. Bert saw him grow up throughout the years-holding him in his arms and feeding him his bottle, watching his first step, and hearing him play the guitar. Herald has grown into his talent in music. Learning purely amazing tunes. He's helped the groom by accompanying Bert sing with his ukelele for Cheryl during special occasions; it will forever be remembered. Taking care of this young lad while in his toddler years was a great experience. And seeing him grow up today, Bert could never be more proud to see him as a man with many attributes.

Groomsman - Jeff Maglaya

Jeff is the groom's soon to be brother-in-law and the brother of the bride. Bert and Jeff get along well and he actually likes Bert for his sister! Bert met Jeff when Bert and Cheryl made it official in March 2009. Even though he may not say it out loud, Jeff gets some good tips on being "sweet" from Bert, including giving Cheryl's used roses from Bert, to Aimee! Jeff and Cheryl became closer in their late teens. He gives good advice and even though Cheryl has sometimes been reluctant in the past, they've had many heart-to-hearts. She will truly miss her brother when she moves to NJ next year. But through it all, Bert and Cheryl know Jeff will always be there for them, and vice-versa!

Bridesmaid - Kay Baciles

Kay and Cheryl became better friends in the later years of Cheryl's stay in Vancouver. Their love of snowboarding and common "interests" allowed their friendship to grow. Although they don't often see each other, every time they do its an endless convo of catchup and laughs! They know they can always count on each other for anything, esp relationship advice ;) They've never actually shopped together, and Kay doesn't know this but her fashion sense inspired Cheryl to get out of her 12 year old Roxy filled wardrobe! haha

Groomsman - Kristoffer Valdez

Kris is a close friend of the bride and groom and is the master chef in mixing these two special ingredients. Bert and Kris are snowboarding and biking buddies, and Cheryl and Kris are Google Chat buddies! Kris saw the potential even before Bert and Cheryl met again and he helped Bert to see that Minister's daughter's aren't so bad. He encouraged Bert to re-activate his Facebook and that it was worth it to get to know Cheryl - and he did that coz Cheryl disclosed her crush on Bert! He was the middle man until Bert and Cheryl became friends on facebook, but he continues to be there for the both of them.

Honorary Bridesmaid - Herneth Park

Herneth is the bride's soon to be sister-in-law and the sister of the groom. Cheryl and Neth met in May 2009 when Cheryl went to NYC to meet Bert's family. Even though they haven't spent too much time together, they get along really well and have a lot in common, including Bert! They are really looking forward to becoming sisters. Bert and Neth weren't as close as they are now. Growing up side by side Bert and Neth always found themselves challenging each other and testing each others patience. As years passed by, Bert and Neth grew closer and found themselves as bestfriends at one point, spending many hours talking about life and relationships, especially getting advice when it mattered most. Neth has really been there for Bert growing up, and knows he can always count on his sister. Having a family with two kids Neth still finds quality time to spend with her immidiate family. Bert could never be more proud of his younger sister growing up to be the radiant women she is today. Although Neth can't be a bridesmaid due to unforeseen circumstances, Bert and Cheryl understand and know she will be a bridesmaid at heart :)

Honorary Bridesmaid - Mae Lawson

Mae is the one of the bride's newest and closest friends in Vancouver. She is part of Cheryl's long distance relationship support network. Their long distance relationships is what brought them closer together. Mae is one of Cheryl's strengths and who she turns to, especially after another sad goodbye. They encourage each other to keep strong and that no matter what happens, its the relationships that are meant to be, that will make it to the end. Mae's enthusiasm and help has gone a long way for Bert and Cheryl's relationship. Unfortunately, since their weddings are so close to each other, they just couldn't be each others bridesmaids like they wanted!
