Her Story

I grew up in Billings, MT in a small house with a big family, until we moved into a bigger house. I have one sister, three brothers and there were always extra kids in our house. My mother was the soul provider for all of us and I have always admired her perseverance.

I had my first child, Kiah, when I was 19 and she changed my life in so many ways. Angelo came a year later and then Anyssa a year and a half after that. I guess you could say, "And then there were three." I was a single mom with three beautiful children to take care of. I thought it was just going to be me and my three and then I met Rich.

His Story

A brief history. I'm the son of Leslie Bergman-Lewellen and Jesse Lewellen. My father passed away when I was 11, leaving my mother as soul provider. Now having kids of my own I really appreciate and have a much greater respect for what my mother had to do. I have three brothers, Jesse, Ben & Bill and one sister Lisa. We are a very close family. Growing up I enjoyed baseball, boxing, basketball, fishing and a various other sports, but mostly when we would have dinner together.

For the past 17 years I've been working in communications. This career has required alot of travel which lead me to Bobbi. Like many I was fearing commitment, afterall I was a rolling stone. I stepped into my fear and it was the best decision I ever made. I thank God.

Our Story

Bobbi was working at a swanky hotel called the Crosslands and Rich was working on the road with a company called Alamon. Rich had several projects in the spokane are and decided that the Crosslands would be a good place to base out of. When Rich was checking into the Crosslands he noticed a business card with the name Bobbi Jo Hoots on it and he thought to himself, 'What a cute name.' When Rich finally met me he said the face fit the name-cute. I immediately took a liking to Rich. He was charming, was in great shape and looked good in his yellow rain pants. I was shy then and whenever he would come into the office I would hide behind my desk. A few months after I met Rich he asked me out to dinner and even though it was against company policy I said yes (after all he was adorable). We dated for a few months and then Rich had to move on to projects in Seattle. We commuted back and forth for the next two years until I moved back to Billings. After I moved to Billings Rich went home to Kalispell and we still commuted until finally deciding to move in together. Which meant a move back to Spokane in the fall of 2008. The kids and I moved in with Rich and we all became a family. In March of 2009 we added one more little angel to our family- Kate Alexis. After some serious thought we came to the conclusion that Montana is the best place to raise children so we moved back to Kalispell. Here we are, ready to continue on our journey.
