We will be married in a Nuptial Mass at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Las Vegas, NV on Saturday, June 6, 2009. Please plan on arriving at the church by 1:15pm, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 1:30pm.

Bally's is centrally located between the Church and Reception site. It is about 14 miles from the hotel to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church on the northwest side of town. It is about 15 miles (in the opposite direction) from the hotel to DragonRidge Country Club which is on the southeast side of town. Please keep this in mind when deciding on your transportation, as each drive can take between 30-45 minutes.

Rental Cars

Renting a car will be the easiest and most affordable way to get around Las Vegas for the wedding. Parking is free all over town as well (except for tipping the valet, of course). Rates start at about $23.00/day and go up from there. Below are a few rental car agencies found at McCarran Airport.

Taxi

A convenient way to get around the Las Vegas Strip is by Taxi. Please be advised that Taxi Drivers do not accept credit cards - CASH ONLY. Generally a ride from the Airport to The Strip will run between $25 and $30 for the 7.5 mile trip. All fares vary depending on travel time, these are just estimates. We have a wonderful family friend at Bally's who is helping us with our block of rooms! The block is available for Thursday, June 4th through Sunday, June 7th.

The rates per night are as follows...

Thursday, June 4th- $62.10

Friday, June 5th- $134.10

Saturday, June 6th- $134.10

Sunday, June 7th- $80.10

Bally's has requested we compile everyone's room information and give it to them all at once. Here is what you will need to do in order to reserve a room:

Call Dana with the following information NO LATER THAN APRIL 1, 2009. Dana's cell number is 702-373-2688. If information is not received by April 1st you will not be able to reserve a room at our discounted rate. Please provide the following information to Dana when you call:

-Your name, address and phone number

- Number of rooms and number of guests in each room

- The dates you would like to reserve

- Your credit card number and expiration date

**Please make your reservations early, as we only have a limited number of rooms in the block!**

Marco was born and raised in Las Vegas, which is not as common as you might think. He was an avid soccer player (Dana and Marco played for the same club and didn't even know it) and played all through high school. Marco went to college at UNLV and earned his BS in Hotel Administration. While in college he came across this beautiful little Italian girl. Her mom thought he was kind of young and her dad thought he was Greek for some reason...Angioni....definitely not Greek. :) Not long after they met, Dana's dog Bella fell in love with him as much as she had. Marco finished law school this past May and passed the Nevada State Bar Exam. At long last he is officially an attorney and is specializing in corporate transactions and estate planning. There's a whole lot in between, including half eaten pork chops, but ultimately here we are. The goal is to practice law and live happilly ever after with Dana and the Boo!

Dana was born in Queens, NY but grew up in Massapequa on Long Island. She made the move with her family to Las Vegas when she was 14 years old (kicking and screaming of course). Though it was a rocky start, Las Vegas grew on Dana as she got involved with soccer and especially after she entered college at UNLV. Dana is a sister of Alpha Gamma Delta and is still actively involved as an advisor for the sorority. She has a BS in Hotel Administration, but upon graduation decided her passions lay elsewhere. So instead of getting a job in the hotel industry, Dana went back to school for her M.Ed in Educational Leadership. She worked at Chapman University in Orange, CA for two years as a Resident Director and loved it there! It was great for Dana to be near Marco again after dating long distance for a year while he started law school. Currently Dana is working as a long term substitute teacher. She is teaching first grade for six months. Dana knew there was 'something about him' the very first time she and Marco met. It was one of those crazy moments where there was a little voice saying, 'you need to get to know him better'. Sometimes when you know, you just know!

So after almost 5 years of dating, you'd think Dana would have been prepared for this moment! Yeah, she wasn't! Marco proposed on May 17, 2008 which is also the day he graduated from law school. His graduation party was held at his Aunt Cindy and Uncle Mike's beautiful home in Long Beach, CA. Dana's mom flew in and there were about 25 members of Marco's family there. Everyone knew a proposal was coming except for Dana. Marco gathered everyone around to give his 'thank you' speech before the food was served. He thanked everyone for coming and supporting him through the crazy journey of law school. Then Marco turned to Dana and said he especially needed to thank her. He got down on one knee and asked Dana if she would do him the honor of being his wife. Most people say "Yes" and hug. Dana was so caught off guard she backed up and kept backing up until the wall stopped her. Then she hid behind the barbeque in tears! She eventually walked back over to Marco (who was waiting patiently on one knee the whole time) and said YES! (There are more pictures in the 'Photo Albums' section.)
