Dana Tufano & Marco Angioni

Dana was born in Queens, NY but grew up in Massapequa on Long Island.  She made the move with her family to Las Vegas when she was 14 years old (kicking and screaming of course).  Though it was a rocky start, Las Vegas grew on Dana as she got involved with soccer and especially after she entered college at UNLV.  Dana is a sister of Alpha Gamma Delta and is still actively involved as an advisor for the sorority.  She has a BS in Hotel Administration, but upon graduation decided her passions lay elsewhere.  So instead of getting a job in the hotel industry, Dana went back to school for her M.Ed in Educational Leadership.  She worked at Chapman University in Orange, CA for two years as a Resident Director and loved it there!  It was great for Dana to be near Marco again after dating long distance for a year while he started law school. Currently Dana is working as a long term substitute teacher.  She is teaching first grade for six months.  Dana knew there was 'something about him' the very first time she and Marco met.  It was one of those crazy moments where there was a little voice saying, 'you need to get to know him better'.  Sometimes when you know, you just know!

Marco was born and raised in Las Vegas, which is not as common as you might think. He was an avid soccer player (Dana and Marco played for the same club and didn't even know it) and played all through high school.  Marco went to college at UNLV and earned his BS in Hotel Administration.  While in college he came across this beautiful little Italian girl.  Her mom thought he was kind of young and her dad thought he was Greek for some reason...Angioni....definitely not Greek.  :)  Not long after they met, Dana's dog Bella fell in love with him as much as she had.  Marco finished law school this past May and passed the Nevada State Bar Exam. At long last he is officially an attorney and is specializing in corporate transactions and estate planning.  There's a whole lot in between, including half eaten pork chops, but ultimately here we are.  The goal is to practice law and live happilly ever after with Dana and the Boo!

Marco and Dana went to college together but did not meet until their senior year.  This is quite odd given they were both heavilly involved in Greek Life where everyone knows each other.  It turned out the two had a lot of mutual friends but somehow their paths had yet to cross.  Marco and Dana both had big plans for the future; law school for Marco and grad school for Dana.  In order to 'beef up' their resumes for these endeavors, the pair decided seperately to join the business fraternity...first Dana, then Marco.  Everyone assumed they knew each other because of Greek Life, but it wasn't until October 4, 2003 that they were actually introduced.  Marco and Dana met while on a retreat for the business fraternity in Mt. Zion, Utah!  The pair hit it off instantly and were inseparable for about 6 weeks.  They decided to start dating on November 15, 2003 at Marco's fraternity formal.  The rest is history!
