Our Wedding

Matt & I had our first date at the Ben & Jerry's across from Meredith over a year ago. This weekend (3/6) we went out to dinner & when we were done Matt told me he wanted to go get a milkshake. I thought it was weird but agreed to go. We went in, he ordered & then sat down. As we were talking & sharing the milkshake he started talking about how much he loved me & that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. Then He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Honestly, it's like a blur!! I knew he had a ring but obviously had NO idea when he would give it to me or how he would ask me. I was totally surprised and shocked! We have been talking about getting married for a while & now it is really happening!! It's so exciting. It feels normal because we have been talking about it but at the same time feels strange & unreal. I woke up The next morning and looked at my ring just to make sure it was still there!! Matt did such a great job picking out my ring & planning a special way to ask me to be his wife. He even ordered the same thing he did on our first date, a chocolate milkshake:) the picture above does not do my ring justice!! He truly did an amazing job picking it out!! He is just so great!!
