Her Story

She came at a time when all her siblings were growing faster than she could catch up. Being the youngest, she got used to being in the limelight - growing up showered with love and attention by the rest of the family. The attention, however, did not make her head swell but only led her to be humble.

Never the kind who'd want to be bound by rules, she seemed destined for a profession in the arts. However, fate led her to the caring sciences of the medical profession - where her people skills got nurtured and where she gained a humane perspective to understanding the world. Finding her niche in this discipline, she epitomizes the modern filipina: secured in her place in the world but never wanting in creativity and ambition to try something new and explore the world.

His Story

He always knew what he wanted and often got them early on, with dedicated preparation and, maybe, nothing else. He fully agreed with Abraham Lincoln's philosophy, viz: "If i have eight hours to cut a tree, i'd spend six sharpening my axe."

Always a "straight" student in the straightest sense of the word, he desiderated for nothing less than sterling in all his academic endeavors. And he carried this attitude even after formal education. Looking back, he had such discipline and work ethic cut exactly for the profession he settled with - a twist from, though akin to, a vocation in the clergy he thought he'd have.

Our Story

The year was 1997. She was an incoming freshman at UP. He was entering his senior year at the same university in the same course she set out to enroll. While she was still learning to sing "UP naming mahal...", he had mastered by heart every line of it. Soon, by some divine twist, 'UP' somehow got twisted in the lyrics, and they ended up singing "kapwa naming mahal" instead. The rest is history (we mean, private)! Sorry, its just too risky to bare much in a website like this. At our wedding, and to a select few we've picked, we'll bare more. Promise!
