Thank you so much for all of your love and support! We had an amazing day and appreciate you so much for coming to share in the celebration of our love.

Two things...

1 - please upload your pictures!

We would love to have everyone's pictures, of course. Please post a link in the "Guestbook" (linked to in the left column) to where we could get them. If you're willing to send a disc or USB drive, that would also be excellent.

2 - email stories, if you would!

We heard about the hawks during the ceremony... if you have any stories like that, we really would love to hear them (we were fairly preoccupied during the event :-)) Our joint email is stubecullerstan at gmail dot com

Very soon in August!

What should guests wear?

The wedding is outdoors in the morning, so there is potential for it to be chilly. The day should warm up though, to about mid-70s. We want people to be comfortable and feel pretty for pictures :-) Bring your cameras, and share photos with us later!

Where should I post pictures?

Jessica is a fan of Picasa. Flickr and other places work too (especially if we can pull high-resolution versions from them). Just please post to the guest book with a link to your pics! Thank you!

What are your colors?

The wedding colors are copper, silver, other metallics, and malachite green.

In general, we like rich earthtone colors (not much like of pastels/white). Jessica does not like pink, especially. :-)

Where are you guys registered?

Amazon.com has a neat feature where we can register for anything from any website. [If you're making a gift list, it's a really nice setup that comes with an 'add to registry' browser button that works on any site.]

As you probably know, we're kinda space people.

When we thought about creating a wedding monogram, or as is more common nowadays, a logo, it just made sense to do it in the style of a space mission patch.

For astronaut mission patches, the crew of a mission gets together and designs something with symbols of their chosing to represent the goals of the mission, and recently the unique point in time

Our wedding colors are copper, malachite green, and metallic detailing, so the text and background feature an orangish copper color, a pretty green, and a grayish silver.

The orbits are our two intersecting paths, crossing once slightly unnoticed (behind the Earth), and then in a more pronounced way in front of the Earth. This crossing makes a subtle heart out of the orbits.

The letters and stars within the orbits represent our current family -- Kevin and Jessica, and Socks and Milla (our kitties). Above the orbits are stars for each of our wedding party members, including the one between our names for Melissa, who helped us connect over the distance when we were getting to know each other. Below the orbits are stars representing the five countries we've travelled together (Canada, India, France, Scotland, and the US). To the left and right are stars representing immediate family who are no longer with us to celebrate our marriage.

The orange and white circles are slightly offset, representing an eclipse, another celestial joining, like marriage.
