This is my Linnea. The 2nd Love of my Life. This wedding would not be possible without her.. She's the most helpful and giving person in the whole world. (And she makes a mean bean dip!) She lives in Ontario with her fiance Joel.
I miss driving around downtown with her and going through drive-thrus. I miss Top Model & cake nights, I miss her dog Helmet...but mostly I just miss her. With us both getting married in the same month this gives us the best excuse ever to get to see each other lots!
That's my Linnea.
Tracey is my oldest friend - I've known her since Kindergarten! We became best friends in Grade 4 because we liked to pretend to be the Chipmunks in the gravel field while the other girls were off chasing boys. We were inseperable in Highschool and annoyed many with our barrage of inside jokes (Very chaony). We were never the girls to plan our dream weddings while growing up - but I always knew when my big day came Tracey would be walking down the aisle too.
We've always lived close - until now - and I think it's safe to say she will always be a part of my life.
Plus, she's cute as a button!
I met Chrissy through Marcus and she quickly became the girl I did everything with - went to bad movies, went to good movies, went out for dinner, went out for breakfast, went out for JJ Bean, watched tv, played Wii, went shopping... everything entertainment I did with Chrissy.
And when I get back from Prince George I hope to resume all of those activities... and add on some Wii-Fit!!
I don't think "Sissy" is too fond of the idea of fancy Weddings per say but she came up with the idea for our ocean theme and she's willing to walk down the aisle in a sea foam dress for me. That's friendship.
Ryan and I became friends through skateboarding soon after I moved to Abbotsford. We lived pretty close to one another, so we went skateboarding together quite a bit, hung out, and went to shows. After high school I joined his band Fun 100, playing shows all over BC, going on tour across Canada a few times, and having amazing times. Ryan has always been the voice of reason when I would get frustrated and has always offered good advice. Living with Ryan and Matt was some of the best times I’ve had; impromptu dance parties, late night B-movies, record hunting, and thrift storing.
He is the best guy.
Matt and I also became friends through skateboarding shortly after I moved to Abbotsford. I remember Matt being referred to as “the guy with the crazy laugh,” and he’s still got it! He has never been afraid to be the first person to jump in and try things or to clear the air after an awkward situation by making a joke that crosses the line. I lived with Matt and Ryan right after I moved out on my own. Some of the best times I’ve ever had are due to this guy.
I’ve known Justin since the first day of grade 6. We became friends fast, most likely due to our amazing taste in sweatpants and mullets. Justin was the first person to show me the Internet. We went to some of our first (sans parents) concerts, camping trips, and hiking trips together. He seems to always have a good outlook on things and has always been there for me.
Andrew is another friend that I met through my early days of skateboarding in Abbotsford. Andrew was in a band called The Hand that played a lot of times with Fun 100, with Andrew usually being the centre of attention. “Yam”drew has a really good sense of humor and is always fun to be around, so we were thrilled when he agreed to be the MC.
