Family Of The Bride

mul-family

This is my family, well, at least those who live close by.

My mother, the youngest of five; however, very much the matriarch of the family. She is strong, wise and kind hearted. She is truly a wonderful mother.

My Aunt Lita and my late Aunt Virginia are like second moms to me. They add to the love.

My cousins, well they are more like brothers and sisters.

And the little ones, they just steal your heart.

Not seen in this photo but are very much worth mentioning are my grandparents; they are the ones who love me unconditionally.

This is my sister Jackie.  Jackie and I do everything together.  Two years ago we travelled to Europe.  One of our stops was in Geneva, and this picture was taken in front of the United Nations.  Everyone knows Jackie, she can imitate any language, just ask her.  The Best sister anyone can Have!

This is my niece Sabryna.  She is going on 35 years of age.  She loves having her picture taken but do not let that smile fool you!  Just joking she is a bundle full of energy and always keeps her Uncle on his toes.

This is my father.  My father was born in Jamaica.  He met my mother in Church while in England, and they had been married for 43 years!  My father past away unexpectedly last March. He was the Patriarch of the family, the most loving father and a devoted husband.

This is my mother.  My mother was also born in Jamaica.  My mother also raised foster childern for 30 years, so we always had newborns/toddlers in our home while growing up.  My mother lost her battle to breast cancer in October of last year.

Sister Sharon
This is Sharon.  Sharon is like a second mother to me.  She has been there from day one (literally, as she was the one who brought me home from the hospital). Sharon was my mom's best friend. She has and will always remain part of the Lumsden Family.
