David Mackie
I have known David Mackie since the beginning of my sophomore year at Georgia Southern University. We worked together officiating recreational sports in Statesboro, GA. We bonded over our love of sports, music and the college lifestyle. We have heated conversations over all things; mainly disagree on everything other than Macon Road BBQ being the best in Columbus.
Dave has proven himself to be friend in every sense of the word. Through good times and bad, thick and thin, he has been there with a kind word or a bad joke. It has been a privilege to call him a friend for all these years. It is my honor to be able to call him my “Best Man” and have him standing next to me on this important date.
Ann Haydon
The Greek Orthodox wedding ceremony is an ancient and beautiful tradition. One important element of the Greek orthodox wedding ceremony, is that the couple must have a religious sponsor. This is know as the Koumbara. The Koumbaro (male) or Koumbara (female) serves as an important witness to the union and participates in the ceremony.
I have asked my Aunt Ann to fulfill this position. I am very happy that she will be a part of our special day, and be a part of the ceremony.
