Siraya and Alex~Always and Forever!

For two weeks Alex had planned the proposal.  He called Tim in South Carolina to ask for his blessing.  He called and visited both of Siraya's parents.  He went with his parents, Mark and Katy, to pick up the ring.  He called both of Siraya's roommates and asked them to take pictures and video tape.  He even asked Miss Bonnie (Siraya's Teacher) for permission to come into the classroom.

On 4/9/09 Alex nervously went to St. Norbert while Siraya was teaching.  Miss Bonnie called Miss Megan out of the class and gave Siraya the job of reading the announcements.  As she is reading, Alex comes into the class and asks for the class' permission to "ask Miss Siraya a question."  He was wearing the same Spiderman tie that he wore the night they met bowling in January of 2003.  That made it even more special that he remembered that.

He came into the front of the room, took her hands, and told her how much he loved her.  He told her he was proud that she teaches and is proud of her.  He then said I love you and would always and forever and said he wanted to grow old with her.  He got down on one knee and asked her to marry him, she quickly said YES!

The preschoolers then all gave her a group hug.  When Miss Bonnie asked the class what just happened, one replied "Some one got married in our preschool."  It was so cute and Siraya was so happy everything she loves all came together in the most amazing day ever!
