Our Wedding Website

Well we've decided on a date for the engagement party. Please mark your calendars for March 7th. We'll be updating where it will be held shortly.

Photographer. Check. Venue. Check. Dresses (almost check). Guest List. Check. 4 things down, a million to go :)

So we've chosen our invitations! Steve picked them :) so if you don't like them, blame him, just kidding :)- They'll be going out at the end of May, save the dates will be going out in April. Details are just falling into place. We're hopefully (if it's not raining) riding our bikes in Encinitas to choose our final exact spot of where we'd like the ceremony on the beach. Wish us luck that it doesn't pour!

We had a moment of luck thankfully when we went up to Encinitas to scope out beaches. We found the perfect spot, walked out on the sand and looked down the beach and just got goosebumps! It's going to be amazing, we're so excited :) Heading this week to finalize my dress and then off with the family to Palm Springs. Lets hope it isn't raining there too!

Time seems as if it's crawling by for the moment, though we both know it's going to approach us very quickly. Update:

Purchased my dress and my sister just got her MOH dress in, both look fabulous. We think we've chosen Steve's and Greg's outfits. Our invitations came in and look better than we had originally thought and both of us looked at each other and said" well no turning back now!" :)-

Engagement party is next saturday, very excited that a couple members of my family will be there that cannot come to the wedding. Following week, we attend a "sip and scan" even at Macy's Home, we'll be registering there and also at Target. Then that following Friday (the 13th, eeeek) is our Engagement Photo session (I'm so excited for this) If you hadn't had a chance to check out our photographers, pay their website a visit, www.thetheorie.com They are seriously just awesome and I cannot WAIT to see how our first set of pictures come out. Moving right along everyone!

We decided on our food! We're going to be serving fresh tacos. A team will be there to make you either Carnitas, Carne Asada, Chicken or Fish tacos fresh on site. For the kids, we'll be getting corn dogs, seems much easier and not as messy as tacos. For all of you who have small children, if corn dogs aren't OK, please feel free to let us know!

We have our San Diego engagement party this weekend, very excited! Next week it's registering and Engagement Photo Session time! We'll be sure to post a link of where to view/purchase pictures once they are finished.

We had our engagement party this last weekend and man was it fun! Everyone said that it was a very good preview of what the reception will be like. Of course I never got to eat anything from having to mingle so much and it reminded me to definitely eat breakfast the day of the wedding! We had such a great time at the party, friends and family showed (see new photos in Photo Album) and we had a night full of wine and great food. Steve made an awesome speech that brought tears to peoples eyes, and my dad also made a wonderful speech. Thank you everyone who could come! Can't wait for the reception!

The party was so much fun, that it made me literally sick! Engagement pictures are this Friday, everyone cross your fingers that I'm better by then!

We will be posting the link and instructions to view our engagement session photos in the next week or so, we're very very excited to see all of them. I've posted the "teaser" picture that they sent me in the photos section.

Also to give you an idea of the price for individual pictures if you would like to purchase pictures for yourselves, any size print up to a 5x7 is $10, 8x10's are $30, and 11x14's are $50. You will be able to order off of the website as soon as they're posted. Same for the wedding photos as well.

Wow, 158 days to go! We sent out the "Save the Date" magnets a couple days ago :) This last weekend we chose our wedding rings for one another. We've had some down time these past few weeks and it's almost over. Starting next week, it's one thing after another for us until after the wedding! Busy busy! 

As far as planning, well, we're pretty much done and just waiting now! Hope everyone is doing well! I'll continue to update this every month or so! 

Hi everyone, I made the mistake of finishing the invitations when I was tired one night. Not a good idea! Not only did I seal them forgetting to address the return envelope, i left off stamps on those as well, I'm so very sorry. I also am afraid that some of them are incomplete! The invitation should have the following in it:

2 months away! We can't believe it. We just said the other day to each other, "Are we really getting married in 2 months?" We're getting a little anxious :) well I am! In the best way of course, but it does shock you when you make that "forever" decision. Never would we have thought that REALLY one day we'd get married, there was hope and the pure wonderment but the reality of it was a distant thought. We're so incredibly excited now! Things are really coming together, the shower is in two weeks, I have an extremely busy time from here until the wedding, so the chaos is truly beginning. I'll be updating this more with details of the big day as they come up, which will be often I anticipate. This is our theme song for the next 2 months :)

A note for family - family photos will be taken immediately following the ceremony, so don't go anywhere! They will be done first, and then immediate family will be done second, so the extended family and get to the reception.
