Risetku, sebagaimana riset-riset yang sering dilakukan sebagian urban planner, adalah jenis kualitatif, atau kuantitatif atau perpaduan keduanya.

My research, as researches that often made by the urban planner, was the qualitative kind, or quantitative or the blend both of them.

Sebagai seorang arsitek, yang memperdalam kuliah di bidang perencanaan kota, sekaligus seorang dosen yang selalu ingin mencoba hal baru dalam proses pembelajaran, juga sorang ibu bagi anak usia SD yang lebih mudah bila belajar tidak dalam memegang buku.........dilengkapi hobbiku yang mempertanyakan banyak hal yang ada di sekelilingku.....
LENGKAPLAH sudah, arah riset yang sangat kuminati dan kuhayati.

As an architect, who concentrated my study in the town planning, at the same time a lecturer who always wanted to try something new in the education process, and I'm a mother for a girl with the primary school age, that  was more easy when studying not in class room......... was equipped  my hobbies made questioned about anything around me..... SO PERFECTLY , my research to be really my interest and was based of my experienced.

Studied about the role of Outdoor Space in the Education Process for Humankind.

Langkah-langkah observasi yang telah terlalui adalah sebagai berikut :

Steps in observation that was passed :

1. Mempelajari tes-tes pemahaman konsep sains yang dilakukan di alam terbuka pada sekelompok siswa SD. Percobaan ini dilakukan secara simultan pada siswa berjumlah 20 anak, secara terus menerus selama 3 tahun berturut-turut. Tidak ada keraguan sedikitpun menggunakan kompilasi data manapun, bahwa pembelajaran diluar ruang mampu meningkatkan pemahaman seorang anak terhadap suatu materi sains dengan jauh lebih pesat.
   

   Made experience based some tests of the concept of science that was carried out in outdoor to a group of student primary school. This experiment was carried out simultaneously to 20 students , continually while 3 years. There were no doubt used the data compilation, that education learning in outdoor space could increase the child understanding to a scientific material with more faster.

2. Mempelajari peran ruang luar terhadap pilihan bisnis pada beberapa tokoh internasional. Antara lain: Robert T. Kiyosaki sorang mahaguru bisnis yang sejak kecil gemar bermain monopoli. Tony Fernandez pemilik armada penerbangan Air Asia yang sejak kecil sangat gemar bermain pesawat terbang. Pada kedua kasus diatas, kemahiran menemukan masalah dan kegigihan untuk menyelesaikan masalah, terlihat jelas telah dilatih secara nyata sejak mereka masih kanak-kanak melalui permainan yang menjadi kegemaran mereka. Dan ini yang membuat jam terbang mereka jauh diatas standar para pesaingnya dalam bisnis yang sama.

Tony Fernandez the owner of Air Asia Airways that since childhood really liked to play the aircraft. In the two cases, the skill found the problem and perseverance to resolve the problem, seen clear was trained obviously since they still the child through the game that became their hobby. And this made them have more time to practice their feeling more than their competitors in the same business.

3. Mempelajari dua orang tokoh muda backpacker luar negeri maupun dalam negeri, yaitu Sonson NS pemilik ibackpacker club dan Marco van de Kamp pemilik Travelers For Travelers.  Arah pengumpulan data ini, bertujuan mempelajari seberapa signifikan pilihan-pilihan dan pengambilan-pengambilan keputusan diluar bisnis, bagi seorang dewasa yang gemar berada di lapangan dalam hal ini melakukan perjalanan secara travelling dengan gaya backpacker. Sayang sekali, riset ini hanya menemukan dua tokoh pria, dan sampai saat ini belum ditemukan tokoh backpacker wanita dengan kriteria yang sudah saya tetapkan terlebih dahulu berupa educable dan bisnis travelling oriented.
   

   Studied about two traveling community with the owner as a research object. There was Sonson NS as the owner of Ibackpacker Club and Marco van deKamp as the owner of Travelers For Travelers. The function of this process , had a purpose studied as significant choices and decision makings apart from the business, for a adult person that had hobbies as traveler and backpacker. Unfortunately, this research only found two figures of the man, and until this time was not yet found figure woman backpacker with my criterion, take the form of educable and the business traveling oriented.

4. Grounded Research. Ada kejutan yang telah digariskan oleh Allah. Meskipun sejak awal saya paling enggan untuk melakukan grounded research......tokh rejeki ini datang dan menyeret saya dengan manisnya. Narasumber saya yang kedua, menawarkan saya untuk membantunya mengelola milisnya. Tidak tahu, bagaimana memulai pengumpulan data, karena riset jenis GROUNDED, berada di dalam langsung obyek pengamatan, hidup bersama obyek dan merasakan keterikatan dengan obyek riset adalah benar-benar sesuatu yang tidak pernah saya perkirakan di masa lalu.
   

   Grounded Research. There was the surprise sent by the God. Despite since the beginning this research, I most reluctantly to do grounded research...... when this fortune came and dragged me with the sweetness. My second community by the owner, offered me to help him managed his milis. Actually, the first time I did not know, how to began collected data, because of the GROUNDED research, was inside direct the observation object, lived with the object and felt attachments with the object research was really something that had not been estimated by me in the past.

5. Sibuk dan panik menerima tugas baru, benar-benar membuat saya seperti anak kecil yang punya mainan baru. Siang malam terhanyut dengan mainan ini, mencurahkan semua keinginan tahuan pada setiap obyek, setiap subyek, setiap fenomena dan setiap proses yang terjadi. Untungnya semua pihak yang ada di sekeliling saya sangat memahami kebiasaan saya ini. Keluarga dan semua partner di manapun saya berada membiarkan saya terus menerus mengembangkan keinginan tahuan saya terhadap dunia backpacker beserta pernik-perniknya. Bekal utama yang mejadi modal untuk mendekatkan diri dengan proses grounded Research ini, adalah *biarkan mengalir seperti air*..........sebuah kata bijak yang pernah menjadi magic word buat saya.
   

   Busy and panic accepted the new task, really made me like the small child who had the new toy. Day and night most washed away with this toy, gave all my time to learn about backpackers, to each object, each subject, each phenomenon and each process that happened. It's the lucky for me all of my family and friends around me really understood with my new habit. My family and all my partners was allowed me continually to develop my research to the backpacker world along with detailed. The Main provisions that was made me closer with the grounded Research process, was *let your mind flowed like water flowed*.......... a wise word that had become magic word for me.

6. Grounded Research berbalik kesimpulan lapangan. Banyak kendala yang menjadi benturan cara kerja saya dan kehidupan backpacker ini adalah, kritikan-kritikan yang saya terima sehubungan dengan tingkat ketelitian tinggi saya sebagai seorang engineer sangat tidak nyaman diterapkan di dunia mereka. Standar kecepatan yang selalu saya kaitkan dengan efisiensi aman, sering membuat orang di sekeliling saya gelisah dan ikutan panik. Hipotesis ini adalah hasil perjalanan yang tadinya saya perkirakan menjadi ajang observasi pengamatan saya, tapi justru membuat saya merasakan bagaimana rasanya melakukan proses kerja persiapan sekaligus sebagai bagian dari penyimpan semua data utama.
   

   Grounded Research turned over to the conclusion. Many challanges that became the collision between my procedure and the backpacker style. I received many criticism about my high care and detail as a an engineer was really not comfortable applied in their world. The standard of the speed that always was planed by me with safe and efficiency, often made the other person around me restless and the panicked. This hypothesis was results of the trip that earlier time was I estimated to the observation site of my observation. But precisely made me felt what it is like to carry out the process of the work start preparations at the same time as a part of stored all the main datas.

7. Tidak ada pentas yang tak pernah usai. Demikian kata bijak. Grounded Research bagian ini hampir berakhir sessinya. Kesimpulan nyata, yang tidak terukur karena saya melupakan alat ukur riset ini adalah : kekuatan emosional antar mereka yang senang berada di luar ruang....jauh lebih dasyat dibanding mereka yang tidak memiliki hobbi ini. Penyaluran kekuatan melalui kontak fisik tidak butuh waktu panjang, untuk menggerakkan mereka menjadi satu kesatuan utuh. Demikian pula sebaliknya, rentan terjadi penjiplakan karakter satu sama lain diantara mereka yang tidak siap berada diluar habitatnya tanpa perlindungan sebagaimana yang telah mereka terima sebagaimana kehidupan mereka selama ini.
   

   There was no stage that had not ended. That was like this wise words. Grounded Research this part almost ended the sessi. The real conclusion, that was not measured because I forgot the implement measured this research was: the emotional strength between them who were backpacker.... more big and strong compared to them that did not have this hobbies. The shared of the strength through physical contact did not need long time, to motivate them to one intact unity. Likewise was the reverse, susceptible character plagiarism happened to one another around them who were not ready was outside the habitat without the protection as that they received in their habit.
