Chef Fernando crew up in Vieques, a city filled with beauty and rarity in the isles of Puerto Rico.
Chef Fernando oponed Fernando Catering Services in St. Croix, VI where his clients were high echelon of the Islands Including lawyers, doctors,refinery executives,corporate board of directors, women groups, and the government of US Virgin ISland.
As an executive Chef with St. Croix Hibiscus Hotel & Resort,where he specialized in fine Caribbean and French cuisine, serving cruise ship guest and tourist of the Island. As he reflects, Chef Fernando admits his favorite dish was "Beef of the Chef" pan seared beef with ginger curry, red wine and secret cream sauce.
When it comes to exotic dishes, Chef Perez experience at the luxurios Buccaneer Hotel and Resort in St. Croix, US Virgin Island, called for a five star menu, he recalls the exotic dishes of Mango Caper Salmon and Papaya Parrot Fish.
Today, Chef Fernando is the Executive Chef for Yanis Bridal & Tuxedo.
