Adam & Holly's Wedding Website

July 27, 2008 was just an ordinary Sunday.  Adam suggested that we should go to the Chicago Botanic Garden for the day to see the gardens and go to a cooking class.  After walking around for awhile and admiring the gorgeous scenery, we came to the Old English Walled Garden.  We decided to take a break (it was hot outside!) and sat down for a bit on a wooden bench in the garden.  The next thing I knew, Adam pulled out a sparkly ring and got down on one knee!  Of course I said yes!

After all of the excitement, Adam told me that he had something planned for that night and we would have to go home and get ready.  When I walked in the door two dozen roses were sitting on the table!  Then we got all dressed up and headed into Chicago for the next surprise.  We arrived at Navy Pier to find a huge yacht called The Odyssey waiting to take us on a dinner cruise!  The dinner and dessert were delicious and the Chicago skyline was breathtaking!  It was a perfect day and the perfect way to start our life as an engaged couple!
