Matron Of Honor-Sheena VanRoekel
Sheena was Holly's first ever friend. They met on the soccer field when Holly was in the 8th grade, and they've been like sisters ever since! They've been through everything together, and Holly's life has been continually blessed by Sheena's sacrificial and deeply caring heart!
Best Man-Mike Biang
Mike and I have been friends since I was eight years old. Naturally we have been through quite a bit together and I truly consider him to be one of my brothers.
Bridesmaid-Erin Beane
Erin was one of the first friends Holly made at college. They were in Alpha Delta Pi sorority together, and became good friends while leading a Bible study together there. They are like sisters now, and are both on Staff with missionary organizations that serve the ISU campus. God seems to bring them through the same life experiences, and Holly praises God often for giving her a friend that can relate in all areas for this reason!
Groomsman-Chad Gourley
Chad and I first met on a missions trip to Honduras when I was 19. After a week of serving together in a third world country we were fast friends. He has stuck by my through the thick and thin of my life and is one of the most loyal friends anyone could ask for.
Bridesmaid-Christy Korthals
Christy was Holly's first life group leader, and later became her roommate. They have been like sisters ever since. They later worked together at Stomping Grounds, and continue to pray together each week. This incredible woman has sharpened and grown Holly's character, and she is forever grateful for her loyal friendship!
Groomsman-Jonathan Anderson
Jon if you haven't already guessed by the name is my brother. I have lost track of how many times Jon and I have almost killed each other over the years. Yet, I can honestly say that he is probably the coolest brother anyone could ask for and I am excited that he will be standing there with me on the biggest day in my life.
Bridesmaid-Neva Hibbing
Neva and Holly met at Stonebrook church one Sunday, and have had a unique bond ever since! Neva's inquisitive nature and Holly's simple trust have enriched each other's lives. After years of being in the same life group, they've come to be sisters who will walk through fire for each other!
Groomsman-Paul Johnson
Paul was my first lifegroup leader when I first joined the Rock. He has been a great leader, counselor and friend over the years. I am blessed to have this man in my life.
Bridesmaid-Rebekah Hanson
Rebek and Holly met during a Stonebrook youth function. After being in the same life group for over a year, Holly came to live with Rebek's family, who have generously fed and housed her while she's been support raising for GCM missions work. They've have literally become sisters!
Groomsman-Kory Kawai
Kory and I met a couple of years ago while hanging out with some friends at bonfire. We quickly realized that we had alot in common and quickly became best friends. He has labored with me and helped to refine me in many ways. I am blessed to have this man in my life.
Bridesmaid-Kendall McCallum
Kendall and Holly met at the Rock during Holly's Senior year at ISU. Their pasts were very parallel, so the bond forged between them was instantaneous. They've been in the same life group for years, and now Kendall is a confidant and sister that Holly could never imagine life without.
Groomsman-Paul Conrad
I first met Paul when I was living in Chicago for the summer. The funny thing is that I met him at a barbaque while returning to Ames for a weekend. We quickly realized that we had alot in common and have had many an adventure since then. He is a loyal friend and it is an honor to have him in my wedding.
Bridesmaid-Macie Merz
Macie and Holly met at Staff Training. They called each other every few weeks after that to keep each other accountable and encouraged during the support raising process. They have come to find that they are kindred spirits and share a lot of commonalities in their views of God and the world.
Groomsman-Mark Gonzales
I met Mark through staff training for GCM. In him I found a man who had the same passion for life and God that I have. Since then he has been there for me in some pivotal points in my life. He has been a huge gift in my life and I am excited that he gets to share this day with me.
Bridesmaid-Ruth Anderson
Ruth and Holly met through Stonebrook. They have the same humor, and love to watch and quote movies together. Holly is so excited to have a sister who has an amazing vibrance of live and a love for the LORD!
Groomsman-Drew Zieger
Drew is one of my oldest friends from ISU and the Rock. He was one of the first men I ever tried to disciple and has suffered through all of my failures. He is a dear brother to me and I am so blessed to still have this man in my life.
Bridesmaid-Sarah Anderson
Sarah and Holly met through Stonebrook. Their first real interaction came at Luke's sister's baby shower, and Holly fell in love with this wonderful young woman! Now she LOVES to hang out and talk with Sarah, and can't wait to spoil her new little sister!
Groomsman-David Boston
David is Holly's brother whom I met met for the first time just a few month ago at his wedding. However I have found that we have some fun commonalties such as, he is a fellow eagle scout and a fellow anime enthusiast. I have had allot of fun hanging out with him even if it has been for just a little while. And I am excited to have him as a brother and very excited that he will be sharing this day with me.
