The Proposal
We went to Las Vegas in May 2007 for vacation and we stayed at the Flamingo Casino and Hotel. Jake proposed to me in the hotel room before we went out sight seeing on our second day there (May 29th, 2007). I was getting ready to go and he was already dressed so he was just waiting for me (imagine that)! We were just talking and he kept saying how nice life had been since we got together and how much his life had changed for the better since he had met me. Then all the sudden he dropped to one knee and asked me if I would marry him! I have to admit, I was hoping to get engaged while we were in Vegas, but I wasn't expecting it at that moment! It was romantic and I was glad to not be in front of a bunch of strangers it was a very private proposal (exactly the way I wanted it..no hives haha!)
