*We booked a Flamingo GO Room...and LOVED it...we even had a view of the Bellagio Fountains from our room! We really weren't in our room all that much-cause I mean it's VEGAS BABY! The day of the wedding I did get quite a bit of use out of the room, because I was getting ready and getting my hair and makeup done so I used the 42" flat screen tv a lot that day. Also the tv in the bathroom mirror was so cool as far as getting ready to go and doing my hair on the other days we were there...loved that! The pink lights in the bathroom...also VERY COOL!
*We went to the Freemont Street Experience in Downtown Las Vegas...there is so much to do down there and everything is quite a bit cheaper too....two of my relatives each won $200 and $250 on the slots in Downtown Las Vegas too...so I guess maybe the slots are looser too? (maybe?) Anyways we all had a lot of fun and the Freemont Street Light Shows are really something to see!
We saw a Memorial Day one (since it was Memorial Day) and we also saw The Don Mclean-American Pie one they were both really cool! We also checked out the swimming pool at the Golden Nugget Casino and Hotel (I am a big shark lover) and in their swimming pool they have a slide that goes through a shark tank..how cool is that?! No you can't ACTUALLY swim with the sharks...it's more or less a big tube that goes through an aquarium, but I still loved it =D
*We went to the 2009 World Series of Poker at the Rio while we were in Las Vegas. I LOVE playing poker and watching it on tv..... I was so excited to get close and take pictures of some of the greatest poker players ever (and meet Andy Bloch!) it was one of the highlights of our trip...you know BESIDES getting married of course LOL =D
*The wax museum was a riot (we did this in 2007 when we got engaged too)...and had a blast, they took some of the wax figures out and put in new ones...but they still had both Elvis wax figures..THANK GOD...and The Rock...sigh. =D
*The Gondola Ride we didn't do in 2007 and it was on the list for this trip of MUST DO! I'm glad we did it...it was so funny when the guy driving the gondola started singing-the look on Jake's dads face is priceless LOL!!!!!
*Bellagio Flower Conservatory with Mom, Courtney, Hailey and AJ it is so beautiful in there..but it smells even better than it looks!
*The Eiffel Tower (at the Paris Casino and Hotel) is a must see in Las Vegas =) Going to the the top of the Eiffel Tower is the best view to watch the Bellagio Fountain show in my opinion =D
*My cousin, Hailey, and I made it from Planet Hollywood Casino to Mandalay Bay to go to the Shark Reef in about 20 minutes...we ran (she did it in flip flops haha) and yes, we did get a LOT of strange looks ;P
Everything about Vegas was so much fun-Jake and I are both really lucky to have so many unforgettable memories with our family and friends that were able to join us for the week =D
