For the bride’s
Jessica specialty is bridal henna requiring intricate design work.
She has developed special designs several times for that discriminating bride who would look at a pattern and want a little bit of one and a little bit of another. The following tips are given to make life easier for you when planning your big day.
1. Plan for your henna day ahead of time. It is ideal to apply henna two days prior or the day before the big day since the color of henna deepens over the next 24 to 48 hours. 2. It takes 2 to 5 hours to complete a full bridal job, depending on intricacy of design. Henna needs to be in contact with your skin for about 6 to 8 hours.
3. Jessica will bring several patterns for the bride to choose from based on the bride’s choice of style. After the bride chooses a certain style and design Jessica might do a variation of the selected pattern if the bride agrees. This way, she is able to use her own creativity in the design as well. 4. It is advisable to have your henna or part of it completed the day before the henna party if you plan on getting intricate work done. There is less disturbance from your guests which helps the henna artist concentrate and do a good job on you. Or, start early on the same day as your henna party.
5. Any manicure or pedicure should be completed the day before your henna appointment. Getting a manicure after your henna may prevent the henna color from getting really dark because of exfoliation. 6. Jessica will share tips on henna after care so that you can get a restful sleep without damaging your henna design and get a nice dark color in time for your big day.
