Our Story

Chase and I both grew up in small towns only about an hours distance apart. We knew of each other due to the fact that our schools competed against one another in sports, which we were both involved in. When I was in 10th grade and Chase  was in 11th grade he called me and asked if I would like to go on a date. I was extremely shy and this was the first date I would really officially be going on. Unfortunantely, because I was so shy (and Chase was too!) we didn't really hit it off and lost contact with one another. As faith would have it though, two years later when Chase came to college in Livingston to play football our paths crossed again. The weekend before I started my senior year of high school, I had planned on going to a party with my cousin Jamie (who was also in college and Chase's age). I remember driving up to her apartment and seeing Chase standing outside...my heart started racing (I think due to the fact that we hadn't seen each other in such a long time and I was shocked to see him, but more so probably because he was so darn cute!!!). Anyway, we went to the party and Chase and I spent the whole time together just talking and catching up. After that night, I knew something was special about Chase and I was excited to get a fresh start with him. We began dating and it has been the BEST seven years I could ask for.
