Kristen and Matt

Matt visited San Francisco for the weekend since it would be a while before we'd be able to see each other again. I had lunch plans on Saturday, so Matt asked if we could hang out beforehand, telling me he wanted to make sure we would get to spend more time together on Saturday. Early that morning he picked me up for breakfast and, unbeknownst to me, a walk to watch the sunrise. We took a long walk around a park near the ocean – a walk that ended at a picturesque gazebo he had pointed out right when we’d started our walk. The gazebo was decorated with flowers and pictures of memories we’d had together. Matt and I looked through the pictures and read the notes he’d written to me to go along with each memory. After all that he got on his knee and proposed! And I said…. nothing. I just nodded, and he put the pretty ring on my finger. :)
