I know I want to have square programs. I would also like to include a tissue in each program. I'm not sure how I'm going to do it or if I will get around to it yet but I think it's a cute little addition.
I made these for my BMs. I also made a miniature version for my flower girl. Birdcagebride is my inspiration for this project. You can find her directions here:
I have loved the idea of having a wedding photo of us holding a "Thank You" parasol since I first saw one. I want to use the photo for our personalized thank you notes. I made this over a few days but it could be done in just one day. Instructions can be found in my blog under DIY or All Things Paper. I am very happy with the way this turned out. It was much cheaper than buying one but it was very time consuming. I kind of understand why they're so expensive now! I bought a dozen of these so I technically spent around over $40 (the ones I've seen online are about $40+ plus shipping). In the end a single parasol probably costs less than $10 to make.
I want to get a cheap white hoodie and decorate it for the day of. The ones at VS are not quite what I'm looking for but I can't find a pic of what I want and it's the same idea. I think I just want mine to say "Bride". I thought about "Mrs. K***** Est. 9-18-2010" to match the undies I want to do but I'm not sure that I would ever wear it again, maybe on the HM?
I loved this idea since I first saw it! This was really easy to do and I am very pleased at how they turned out. You can find my tutorial here.
This is the toss garter I made. I really like zebra print and I thought this would be a nice way to incorporate it without going overboard. My tutorial can be found in my blog.
I painted these wine glasses to give to my BMs when I asked them to be in the bridal party.
I printed the letters out and taped them to the inside of the glass to trace. I used the wrong side of the paint brush to make the dots. This helped make cleaner, more uniform dots. I went around the glass in a spiral design one color at a time using red, black and white. The bottom of the glasses are painted either red or black and the letter matches the color on the bottom.
