Use The Checklist
The amount of work needed to organize an event can be overwhelming. Our checklist tool helps you organize and delegate all the tasks needed to make it successful.
There are 2 main areas on the checklist page, the management area at the top and bottom of the page and the checklist area below it (see figure 1).

The Management Area
The management area lets you add a new task, filter your existing tasks, scroll from one task page to the next and perform actions on multiple tasks at once.
Adding A New Task: When you add a new task you can specify the task name, the owner (remember to delegate!), the category and the occasion if you're planning more than one. You can also specify a due date and optionally ask to have an email reminder sent to remind you when the date is approaching.
Filtering Your Tasks: You can filter your tasks by status, category occasion and owner.
Performing actions on multiple tasks: You can mark several tasks as complete or incomplete, add or cancel several task reminders and delete several tasks at once. Just click the checkbox on the far right for any tasks you want to perform the action on and then use one of the buttons provided in the bottom right of the management area.
The Checklist Area
A task row will change colors depending on it's status. A red row means it's overdue. A dark grey row means it's completed. There are several actions you can execute on a task:
Marking a single task as done: To mark a task as done just click on the checkmark on the lefthand side of the task.

Editing a task:To edit a task click the edit button, make your changes and then hit the save button.
Making notes:To make or view notes toggle the notes button.
Toggling your reminder: To toggle your reminder on or off click on the reminder icon. For more information on reminders and when they will be sent see the Reminder How-To.
Linking or creating a budget item:You can link your task to a budget item or create a new one by clicking on the budget icon. Note you can only link to the new budget item if it shares the same category and occasion as your task. For more information on budgets see the Budget How-To.
Viewing a budget item: If you have already linked your budget item you can view the budget item summary by clicking on the budget icon. For more information on budgets see the Budget How-To.
Linking or creating a vendor selection: You can link your task to a vendor selection or create a new one by clicking on the vendor icon. Note you can only link to the new vendor selection if it shares the same category and occasion as your task. For more information on vendor selections see the Vendor How-To.
Viewing a vendor selection: If you have already linked your vendor selection you can view the vendor selection summary by clicking on the vendor icon. For more information on vendor selections see the Vendor How-To.
Selecting a task for multiple actions: To select a task so multiple actions can act on it click on the multiple action checkbox.
Deleting Tasks
Tasks can only be deleted by using the multiple action button in the management area.
