HOT !! HOT!! HOT!!!

Hi all, 

Just heard back from priest and it is very very hot in Altea at the moment. He told us a wedding last week had to be postponed an hour because someone was unwell from the heat!! Please, be very careful staying outdoors. I got absolutely scorched there this time last year on spots I missed with suncream. Billy was calling me patch!! The hotel is  air conditioned  while you wait for the bus to the church so not to worry, it is manageable!! As is the bus to the church!! All will be well (hopefully:))
 
Billy doesn't call me the health and safety officer without reason!

Night before and after wedding and Hairdresser

Hi all, 

 

Hope all is well!

Just to let you know if anyone is going for a drink the night before the wedding, we will be meeting up in the main square of the old town of Altea. The bar is called La Plaza.(They are very helpful in ringing taxis)

On the day of the wedding a bus will be picking you up at Hotel Villa Gadea at 3pm to bring everyone to the church which is outside Altea.If anyone has rental car they can follow the bus.

The night after the wedding (if your able!) we will be having a party with tapas and drinks at in a restaurant called Casa Vital in Altea old town. Food is being served at 8 pm.

People are coming on so many different flights it was impossible to organise a bus. The public service is very good and you should be at the hotel within an hour if you get the bus to Benidorm and then a taxi to Altea. The only other suggestion I would have is if people want to share taxi's they could meet outside the pharmacy downstairs in Alicante airport (near car rental desk) and hold card saying Altea!

HAIRDRESSER: The wedding hairdresser and her team will be at the hotel all day on 16th. If you would like to book an appointment please email her. It should not be a problem she will just bring hairdressers from her salon depending on bookings.

When we went over last time we ate at a lovely restaurant called Oustau in old town.If anyone would like a nice meal away from wedding during your stay it might be an idea to book as it gets fairly busy. Phone 96 584 20 78.
