How did we do that globe-luv-animation thing?

As you all can easily guess, the animation really shows our true experience in searching a soulmate and how we finally met each other. We thought it does not only represent our story, but also stories of so many individuals in the world.

We spent only about 15 minutes to make it. Oh liar! It took us more than 15 minutes just to discuss the idea. It started with the brilliant idea of James. He sketched a very preliminary design of the invitation. Initially, we thought it would be just a two dimensional invitation. Merlyna loved it but she was intrigued to make a narrative stronger (and more fun) by transforming the idea into an animation.

We spent more than a whole day to get the animation done. From morning to morning the next day! It was sooooo tiring, but it was fun too.

Merlyna did all sketching and animation work. James did all the texts and the music.

It was our first collaboration. None of us ever did any animation before. And it was a good, oh great, collaboration!

Below are some pictures from 'behind the scene'.
