The BoatYard is a casual resturant that overlooks the marina. We want you to be relaxed, but leave the cutoffs at home please!! =) (Unless you almost had the roll of Daisy Duke, your legs just aren't enough to overcome the cutoff.)
Beach chic. Elegant but comfortable. Beautiful but barefoot. I realize these sound like oxymorons, but oh well! We are going for a beautiful, bells and whistles, full on glamour look but with the kick off your shoes and have some good food and fun feeling.
Ladies, break out that flirty fun cocktail dress with sparkles you haven't had an excuse to wear, but leave the stilettos at home (or plan on ditching them!).
Fellas, anything you feel "GQ" in works just fine. A suit makes things simple. Sport coats with slacks rock, but should feel free to be tie free! (Unless you love it, or its a great cheesy fun wedding tie!)
ABSOLUTLEY NOT! I (the bride) will be barefoot! As will most/all of the bridemaids and potentially all the guys too.
(I am told that for the ceremony's beach location we will have to have shoes on while on the dock... hmm - maybe I can just get a piggy back ride over the dock! =).
Dare to go Bare(foot)! Don't feel like being at a wedding with no shoes on? OK. But plan on letting loose and kicking them off for the reception. (I really don't want someone's heel standing on my foot on the dance floor!)
