Natalie was born on December the 15th 1983 to Tina and Eron Jama In st. James hospital, leeds, UK.
she had a wonderful upbringing, her parents did not have allot of money but enough to get natalie everything she wanted and needed
she had 4 sisters, Carol, Yasmin, Pam and Janet but unfortunately on 24th November 1989 carol passed away due to a brain hemorrhage, she also would have had a brother, Nicholas, but he also died way before natalie was even born. Natalie also has a brother named Simon, to whom she has never met but sincerely hopes that she will one day in her life.
natalie was educated at clap-gate primary school and then went on to rodillian high school when she was 13 where she stayed until she was 15 but had to leave due to reasons she is not ready to expose at this moment in time.
a year after natalie left school she fell pregnant, and on the 24th of November 2000 she had a little boy to whom she named Branden.natalie then developed post natal depression which did not go and she still has to take medication now, and by doing that she takes each day as it comes. It was the depression in-fact that got natalie first interested in writing poetry, she found it easy to express her feelings, and for natalie in poetry the words seem to come freely.
close to Christmas 2002 natalie met a man who she then married in June 2003 and in 2004 had another little boy named Mackenzie, by this time her husband had taken Natalie's son Branden on , and loved him as his own. Unfortunately on 13th September 2006 Natale's dad passed away, he lost his long battle with cancer, natalie was the apple of her fathers eye and found his death difficult to deal with, but with the love and support of her family she made it through. In November 2006 Natalie's marriage broke down as her husband could not handle Natalie's depression, although it was quite an amicable split so that made things a little easier, he continues to have his children 2 nights a week. In December 2006 her eldest son Branden was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, natalie could not believe it and was devastated by the news as this decease was something that she had never come across before and had no experience in but the dedicated team of nurses at that Jame's hospital gave her full training in how to check his blood sugars and administer his 4 injections a day. Natalie got allot of help from her mum but found it all very hard as she was now a single mum but she coped ..she said to me 'bad things happen to good people and in the end we just have to accept it, there is no point dwelling on it and feeling sad, all we need to do is adjust ans get on with it, Branden is still the same, he is still my little boy, just with a broken pancreas, so we just think, he needs to eat healthily, cut down his sugar intake and give him the correct amount of insulin that his pancreas normally would have if it was healthy'...I then asked her if it disrupted her everyday life and if she had to change allot of things when it comes to family living, she replied ' Ha ha, no not really, I just make sure that if we are going out some where i have his insulin and needles, his glucose machine and glucose and snack in case his blood sugar drops too low. as a mum i is my responsibility to look after and protect my children the best way that i can, and as long as i am here and alive, i will keep on trying to be a good mum, i might even have a grin from time to time..ha ha'
Natalie's best friends are Rachel, who is always there when she needs her, she can tell Rachel anything and if natalie is having a really difficult day or two she will be there for her and then there is Sarah, not quite as reliable but never the less, still a fantastic friend, they have a real laugh sometimes.
so there you have it, Natalie's life all neatly wrapped up in a few paragraphs, if there is anything else you would like to know then please wright in the space below and i am sure if she can help then she will.
