This is Sophie's favorite excursion.
You will journey through dirt roads, lanes, rivers, palm groves, and country villages driving your own 4X4 to the city of Matanzas, and to the Yumurí valley. You will then stay in "Rancho Gaviota" with a typical lunch and horseback rides on the property. Following this, you will each get to captain a small motor boat (2 per boat) through the lagoon. Once done, you head to the Santa Catalina caves where you will swim in crystal clear water with interesting stone formations.
Catamaran Excursion
This is a must do for anyone who is looking for a memorable dolphin excursion. This trip includes a dolphin swim where you get to share a kiss with the dolphins, snorkeling, and lunch on Playa Blanca Island. And did we mention an open bar on an incredible 40 foot catamaran.
An extra bonus may include the chance to get up close and personal with some of the largest barracuda you will ever see.
