Her Story

Julie (full name Julianne) was born and rised in London, Ontario.  Family and friends are the most important thing in her life, along with her 2 cats and guinea pig.  Julie's childhood memories are full of camping trips, her grandparents trailer, a trip to England, and just spending time with family and friends. Her favourite things to do are watching movies, playing on their wii, and making jewerly. In December of 2005 Julie graduated from the Fanshawe College early childhood education program which is something she is very proud of. Last October she moved to Mississauga to live with Steve and is enjoying every minute of it.

His Story

Steve was born in Toronto. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Steve's childhood was mostly about hockey, be it watching with his grandfather, playing all the time with his friends or going to the games with his uncles. Later music became a big part of his life. Steve is an avid listener to music. Along with his brother he learned to play, create and produce music. It took center stage in his life, that is until he met Julie. Steve is now living with Julie and looking forward to a long happy life with her at his side.

Our Story

The first time Steve and Julie saw each other was at a concert after party.  After that night they saw each other a few times before they spoke. When they finally talked to each other it was an instant connection.  After that they started talking online and their connection grew.  Their feelings for eachother were made clear when they realized they couldnt go a day without talking to eachother. They realized that it wasnt just a friendship. From that day on they have been together. While Julie lived in London Steve would come down every weekend he could. In October of 2008 Julie moved to Mississauga and they moved in together. They both havent been happier. Just before christmas of 2008 Steve decided to make it offical and propose to Julie. While they were in London for the day he asked her parents and they said yes, so when they went to Walmart to pick up a few things he decided it was the perfect time to do it so Julie would be completely suprised. While picking out some clothing Steve "dropped" what he had in his hand, so he got down to his knee to get it. Julie was trying to rush him to pick it up so they could get going, but he told her he couldnt get up because he "had a rock in his pocket". Julie said whatever just hurry up, than she turned around. There was Steve on one knee with a box, she started laughing and told him to get up and stop being silly. Steve than asked her to marry him and Julie's face went as red as a tomato. Julie said yes and as they hugged the people around them started clapping. Currently they are in the process of planning their wedding which will be April 10, 2010.
