A Tiffany & Co. Engagement

The Proposal

Because of our hectic schedules, we moved Valentine’s Day to Sunday, February 28th. Well, the Monday before that, he left a crossword puzzle in my apartment that he had made just for me. (I love crosswords!) Over the next few days I continued to receive clues from him telling me how to decode what was hidden in the puzzle along with cryptograms and single words that were to be added somewhere in the message. I had to figure them out and figure out what order to put them in, as I got them. I was thinking, “Best Valentines Day Ever!” Then, later in the week I started receiving clues from my best friend, my mom, and his mom. By Saturday night I had the full message. The end said to meet him the next day at Providence Place (the mall), in the center, beneath my namesake….. TIFFANY & CO. I went, and a woman was waiting for me. She brought me into the store, and asked me to try on some rings. She picked one out that she thought I might like (hint, hint), and brought me to their private room to try it on. When she opened the door, I saw a beautiful set-up of cake, champagne, and my real ring! And Terrell was standing next to it all, waiting for me. She closed the door to give us some privacy, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!!! He’s the best!!!
