i booked our vow renewal about 2 months in advance. i was on a budget and called several companies before i got judy. it was just my wife and myself celebrating our 25th anniversary. i explained to judy on the phone that this was a suprise so we communicated via email. i explained to judy that we were staying on the other side of the island and she said she could travel to our hotel to perform the ceremony. after i arrived i made contact with her to double check that everything was ready. we had a little confusion as to where the ceremony would take place but we both figured it out together. the day of the ceremony came and she was there with a man named charles to perform the ceremony.we were on the beach at sunset and it was PERFECT. Charles started by playing the conce shell. he started reading the vows and we had a group of strangers watching us. they were following along with the ceremony and applauding when it ended. i think this was even better than our original wedding. thank you judy and charles

Boy, where to start. We booked our wedding with Marc months in advance. He told us we did not need a deposit to hold the date. Maybe a month before we were to depart Oregon for our dream wedding on Maui, Marc's wife Judy called and said we needed to send her a deposit or else she could legally book that time slot with another customer. We had never even spoke with Judy before this date. We had been in contact only with Marc. Fast forward to the day before our wedding. We call Marc from the location of our ceremony only to get Judy instead. She informs us that Marc will no longer be performing our wedding, instead she has found someone else to do it. When were they planning on telling us this? They obviously were not. Now it's our wedding day and we are so excited to get the spot down by where the rocks meet the ocean like they said we would have. But wait, there is another wedding going on at that spot because Judy (who we didn't even know we would be working with) didn't apply for the beach/park permit until 3:30pm that day. We were to meet there at 5:30pm with our wedding at 6:00pm. We found that very unprofessional. The spot we were supposed to have been married at was convienient enough for my elderly Grandparents to walk down to. My Grandpa is 75 and suffered a stroke 15 years ago and his mobility is extremely limited. Instead, Judy makes our families walk way down the beach after telling me that she's "sorry" but I "do not own the rocks, they're just rocks". While also bossing our entire family around, telling them to "walk faster" and things of that nature. She also implied that it was foolish that my soon to be Husband did not want to see his bride before the ceremony began so he was trying to dodge me. She said "come on I think you can look at eachother now, you are going to be married in a few minutes anyways". How rude! After figiting and sighing throughout our entire ceremony, the only thing she was interested in was her money! We handed her a check and she basically drove off. Where was our supposed minister Marc, her husband? We are not sure but we must say the man who performed our ceremony, a Hawaiian man named Roberto was so kind and caring. We have nothing against him at all. He was probably just thrown into it, as he didn't even know our names. It was so gracious of him to fill in for someone else who in our opinion just dropped the ball. Beware of Judy, she will spoil your day. Request Roberto, he is what made it memorable.
