Are you planning a special event in the Greater Boston and New England  Area?  Then you have enough to plan without the added worry of the music and entertainment.  That's where we come in.   A True Family Affair has been in business since 1995 and has the experience specializing in providing the very best in Disc Jockey entertainment for all types of events, including Birthday Parties, Corporate Events, School Dances, Anniversaries, Class Reunions, and we specialize in Professional Wedding Deejay Entertainment.  We offer the experience you need at an affordable price that you desire.   From Big Band to Swing, Oldies to Country, Hip Hop, R&B, Pop, Kids Music and more, our music ranges from the 1920's through today, all of our music is screened for content.  We don't just block out the songs with vulgar language, but also screen for subject matter.   As a father myself, I understand how concerned parents are these days regarding song lyrics.  If you use our service, you will not be embarrassed in front of friends, family, or your clients.  Your little ones won't even hear something they shouldn't.   With a music library that continues to grow every month, there is something for everyone.  The music for your special event will be customized just for you.      Do you have a special request?  If we don't have it, we will get it!  Just ask us when you book your event.   Most DJ's belong to music services that send them a new CD every two weeks.  The DJ does not get to choose what songs he/she gets.  This means when they tell you they have 50,000 songs, you'd be lucky to recognize even 1% of them.  A True Family Affair has a unique collection.  Since we personally screen all of our music, we also personally choose all of our music.  To date, more than 76% of our songs have actually been requested at different events.   No matter what your event you will get the opportunity to pick out some songs in advance, as well as look through our request book during the event.  When our clients choose songs in advance, it helps us build our music collection based on what you want to hear.  You will find our music collection actually quite impressive.   We even carry one of the largest private collections of Christian Music in New England.  Over 5,000 song titles available.  We have two full sets of our regular music, but only one full set of Christian music.  If this is the music you want for your special event, just let us know when you book us to make sure that music collection will be available on your date.
