As you may have noticed, there has been NO ACTION at all on this blog…for very good reason. My second son, Malakai, was born this past June! He is an amazing blessing from the Lord and yes… so stinkin’ cute!!! Time flies! I can’t believe he’s almost 1-year old!!!

Aside from being busy as a mama, Larry’s tree service business that he started 4 years ago has really been taking off, and I’ve taken on the role of one of LC Tree Trimming’s Board Director. SOOOOOOOO….. as a result, I sadly have to say farewell to Abiding Image
It has been such a fun, amazing, blessed 8 years of business!!!! I’ve met sooooo many wonderful people!!! Aside of the weekly wedding cake that I had to look forward to, the ABSOLUTE best part of my job was having the honor of watching the full blossoming of a family…being able to meet a wonderful couple for the engagement portraits…to shooting the special wedding day…and not just shooting, but being able to be in the midst of it all…to doing the first maternity photo shoot…followed by the annual family shoots with one child…then two…three!!! It’s such a blessing!!! And it makes me teary eyed to have to walk away from it :*( Some of my regulars I’ve known since year 1 of business. Love you guys!!!!
So this will be our farewell! The site will be closing down by the end of the year, but who knows…maybe in a few years it’ll pop up again
Thank you all for your support through the years!!!! MUCH LOVE!!!

Yay!!!! Jaydon is one!!!! I thank GOD so much for this past year with my baby boy!!! SOOOOO thankful!!!
It took some talking into, but I succumbed and let Jaydon have his first bite of sugar at his birthday party this past weekend. At least it was organic cane sugar /:

Sorry I haven’ t been blogging too much lately. With work, being a mommy and wife, spending quality time with family, friends, and the LORD…there just aren’t enough hours in the day. But thought I’d share some family photos from our trip to the San Diego Fair this week…which was also Jaydon’s first trip. I LOVE the fair!!! I look forward to it every year. Deep-fried butter?!!! Say wha?!!!!! No thank you!!!
So I guess this is suppose to be a chicken…hmmm…

I love museum weddings!
Once again I got to shoot this last wedding with good friend Daisy Varley for Nicole and Andrew’s San Diego Natural History Museum rooftop wedding at Balboa Park.
theme = dinosaurs
Confession … funny thing is I was actually blind shooting this wedding. What? A blind photographer? Somehow…yeah…it worked…thank GOD! Long story short, I can’t see through my right eye at the moment due to an inflammation in my cornea. Not to worry…it’s only supposed to last for a couple of weeks. But my right eye is my main shooting eye, so everytime I’d look through the viewfinder of my camera, I COULDN’T SEE A THING!!!! YIKES!!!! I could see the peripherals of my vision in my right eye, but nothing in the center, so needless to say there was A LOT of guesswork involved.
Here’s a look at their wedding…
Typical action when the guys are getting ready…
