How would you identify your photographic style?
Photojournalistic, candid, and traditional. Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
Colorizing (one object in color, rest in black and white), Black and White, Vintage Effect, Sepia Toning, Softening, Airbrushing, Vignetting. Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
All lighting conditions, including dim lighting. Is your media preference film or digital?
Digital. How many photographers do you work with?
One. Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes! Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one wedding in a day? Weekend?
Sometimes more than one per weekend, never more than one per day. Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the wedding day?
Yes, I work with a network of photographers to handle these situations. What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Camera, digital accessories, lighting, tripod, ladder. Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
I bet my life on wedding photos - yes! Do you charge hourly or full day?
Hourly, packages. If hourly, are you available for shooting overtime? If so, how much do you charge for overtime?
Yes, there is a reduced fee for shooting over the original allotted time. I am reasonable, however, and will work with you to make sure you get the shots you need. Do you require a meal break? If yes, do you require that the wedding party provide your meal?
Not reqiured, but kindly requested. How many breaks do you usually take throughout the day?
One - dinner (20 minutes). Do you charge for travel?
No, not for weddings in the Fox Cities, Green Bay, Appleton, Oshkosh, and Fon du Lac Areas. Madison and Milwaukee weddings are associated with a minimal travel charge. How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Your original proofs are available in about a week online. In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Website, CD-ROM, DVD. How long can the couple keep the proofs?
Forever. Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes. I provide all proofs on a DVD or CD for an additional charge if you would like to own the rights. Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes. Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the couple?
Yes, for an extra charge. Will images be available for viewing on an online gallery?
Yes. All guests will be able to access the gallery as well, after you have approved the photos. What kind of albums do you offer?
Create-Your-Own, Storybook Hardcover, Coffee-Table Leatherbound, and many more. When will I get the final book?
Within one month of the wedding. How long does it take to deliver a book?
2-3 weeks.
