Greetings to all!

It's not coincidence that you are sitting there right now reading this. It was pure and honest fate.

My name is Rev. Deanna Barrett owner & creator of Alternative Weddings of LKN. 

We have been brought together because it was meant to be! 

Weddings can be frustrating, expensive, and overwhelming.

So for that very reason I have created Alternative Weddings of LKN.

Alot of churches can be very strict on weddings and ministers will not perform but a certain traditional style ceremony. It's your wedding so you get to decide. Be creative, have fun, and most importantly be YOURSELF!

A list of creative weddings are as follows but keep in mind that these are just ideas created by other individuals just like yourself so if you see one that fits you then go with it and be creative, and make it all yours;

gothic, reneasance, bikers, western, holiday, celtic (Irish/Scottish), african, pagan, spiritualistic, haunted, and so much more to even name but you get the idea. It's all about YOU...remember that.

Note: as you know same sex weddings are not considered legal or valid in the state of NC. So for this reason you may want to choose an Affirmation of Love Ceremony. It's the old way back in biblical times that people were wed. Confessing ones love for the other infront of God (or whatever/whomever) was all that it took to become one.

Our fees for ceremonies have been kept low so everyone can enjoy having the wedding of their dreams.

It's alsways an honor, joy, learning experience and cherishing for me to work with people of all walks of life.
