The Spa focuses on health and wellness and offers homeopathy, acupuncture, nutritional counseling as well as yoga. • We have started a recycling program for clients and staff • Replaced styrofoam with washable plastic and glass cups, • Replaced many light bulbs with Compact Fluorescent Light bulbs (CFLs) to save energy. • Beginning the first phase of our renovations, we have used environmentally-friendly low-VOC paint. • We are investigating enzymes and essential oils to sanitize the spa and replace harsh chemical cleaners, and having a sale to clear out non-green products. • We have upgraded our water purification system so you are drinking even purer water, • We have ordered retail bags which will be biodegradable • We will be printing our business cards and brochures on recycled paper with soy ink • We will soon be revamping many of our body and facial treatments to incorporate organic products! • Once we do that, we will be trimming down our brochure to use less paper, and will be focusing on e-newsletters rather than mailings. • We will be installing occupancy sensors that automatically turn lights on when someone enters a room and off after a room is vacated we use natural products and mineral makeup we use organic essential oils
