How did you meet your husband?
They say with death comes new life in our case it came with new love. Anthony and I met at a funeral. We exchanged a few words in passing that day but that was it. From that moment we both felt as if we know we had to have the other one in our lives forever. A few weeks later we crossed paths again in a crowded nightclub were we then exchanged phone numbers. Since that day Anthony & I have been inseparable. We have been with one another during some hard times but many joyful occasions as well.
Tell us about your wedding dress.
My wedding dress came form David’s Bridal. I was determined to have my wedding colors included in my wedding dress, so I know my search would be hard and long. I started looking at David’s Bridal and took lots of pictures but continued to look around still taking lots of photos after four dress shops. I looked over all the photos and still fell in love with the first dress I chose from David Bridal.

How was your experience with Behind the Scene Sounds?
It was wonderful!! Anthony and I wanted to party all night long and Behind the Scene Sounds made sure that happened. Btssounds helped make our wedding day, OURS. With special touches, such as our voice over for the first dance & my father daughter dance the lights and lastly the monogram all amazing.

What did you like most about working with Behind the Scene Sounds?
I enjoyed the fact Behind the Scene Sounds listened to what Anthony & I wanted on our day. My guess loved the games we played and the fact they were able to receive the center pieces and sound track of the wedding. It truly was the Best night of our lives.

What did you like most about your wedding?
I would have to say the fact my wedding day was a dream comes true all-round. From marring my best friend, to the details of the event coming out the way I wanted them. Lastly, the fact that we had the love and support of more than 260 members of family & friends.

How did you meet your husband?
James and I met approximately 20 years ago through mutual friends. We continued to run into each other over the years until 1998 when James moved to San Diego. In 2009, after James moved back to Sacramento a mutual friend invited us both on a trip to San Francisco. Two weeks later I called James and we went on our first official date. A year later he proposed.
Tell us about your dress.
I found my dress after trying on about 6 or 7 dresses that met my “criteria”, however all short of being the “one”. The bridal consultant at the House of Fashion then brought me a dress (that met none of my criteria) and said “just give it a chance”. Well – I fell in love with the Moonlight Bridal dress immediately. From the soft sweetheart neck line, open back, sprinkling of Swarovski crystals and the chiffon train; what is not to love.
How was your experience at Behind the Scene Sounds?
When we first met with Behind the Scene Sounds we were asked if we were planning a traditional or non-traditional wedding. Since we waited to get married we had decided on a non-traditional wedding and were looking for ways to make our wedding reflective to whom we are. BTSS listened to our ideas, while getting to know us and eventually making some key suggestions. The final result was an unforgettable wedding that our guests have not stopped talking about.
What did you like most about working with Behind the Scene Sounds?
As promised BTSS was with us from the time we first met to the time the wedding ended. Dee and Elizabeth kept the wedding on schedule and the guest entertained throughout the night. Several guests have told us that they wished that they could have stayed longer and couldn’t wait to see what was next. We can’t thank BTSS enough for helping to make our wedding memorable.

What did you like most about your wedding?
Walking into the courtyard and seeing my husband-to-be for the first time surrounded by our closest friends and family. It was truly amazing to see all of the details come together and to spend the day with those we love.

How did you meet your husband?
We worked together at Parks and Recreation. I remember him on the day I went in for my interview. My first impression was he wasn’t a morning person. I think the first time he remembers meeting me was on my first day of work. He didn’t think I was too friendly because I wasn’t being to social because I was in training. Needless to say it’s not always the first impression that counts because it’s the last impression that is stamp on your heart forever! He became a great friend, then boyfriend, fiancé & husband, but most of all my soul mate.

Tell us about your dress.
After trying a whole bunch of dresses I finally found the one I felt most comfortable with and had a little bit of everything I like in each dress I tried on. I got it from David’s Bridal. I do suggest that all brides should bring a camera with them. The first time I went and tried on dresses I fell in love with this dress that was way over priced. However, it was my wedding day and when I went back I was prepared to pay the cost for the dress I like, that was until my mom busted out her camera and when I look at it thru the camera I hated it! So I highly recommend cameras. The dress I went with had everything I wanted. Buttons on the neck of the halter, sprinkles, a little lace. Since I’m a shoe girl I have to mention I didn’t go with the traditional white shoes (one because I never would wear a white shoe again), instead I went with Blue to match my bridemaid’s dresses and for my something blue. It turned out nice with the dress!

How was your experience at Behind the Scene Sounds?
It was amazing! They did an awesome job! They kept the party going! We wanted our reception to be up beat and exciting. We wanted it to be a party were we could final sit back relax and have fun. They provided just that. We were very impressed with the light show! They turned an ordinary room into magic. All the feedback we got in regards to our wonderful DJ was very positive. They all stated the DJ was a lot of fun and made the wedding special.

What did you like most about working with Behind the Scene Sounds?
There professionalism and there family friendly costumer service. We liked how they met with us a few times before the wedding to make sure they followed thru with what we wanted and didn’t want.

What did you like most about your wedding?
When I walked down the aisle and saw the impression on my husband face, when we said I do, and when we danced the night away in celebration. Really every moment was one I will always remember.

How did you and your husband meet?
Steve and I met at L Wine Bar on a blind date. We talked for 3 hours about our interests, hobbies and families. After the date I called my best friend and said, “I should probably marry him, but maybe I should get to know him better first.” One year later Steve proposed and I am married to my best friend and love of my life.
Tell us about your dress.
I found my dress at Alfred Angelo. It was the third store I tried on dresses. I knew I wanted a strapless dress but other than that minor detail I just knew I had to try them on to know if it was “the one”. My dress was an ivory sweetheart neckline with lace up back. My favorite part was the beading and adornments on the bustline. My dad helped choose the belt which we had sewn on to the dress during alterations. This helped make the dress custom for me. I loved the bottom of my dress because it was different than any other dress I had ever seen. My swarovski veil and red shoes completed the look. I wanted to look classy but with a fun twist.

How was your experience at Behind the Scene Sounds?
Behind the Scene Sounds made every effort to get to know my husband and I. Elizabeth & Dee met with us on three separate occasions to discuss plans for the wedding. They welcomed us into their home. They made sure to take into account all of our wants and needs. They are such an amazing MC and DJ team. We couldn’t imagine working with anyone else. It made us feel good to know we were working with a husband and wife team. Our wedding was as important to them as it was for us. They customized our music, lighting and announcements. They went above and beyond what you might expect from a DJ. They also traveled to Lake Tahoe.

What did you like most about working with Behind the Scene Sounds?
Behind the Scene Sounds made our wedding so fun! We loved the way Dee interacted with our guests. There was never a dull moment. He really kept the energy going and helped us stay on a time schedule. The lighting and photo booth that they set up made our wedding magical. Elizabeth was awesome at keeping the music going. We continue to receive compliments on our DJ and MC.

What did you like most about your wedding?
We loved the opportunity to share a beautiful evening with all of our family and friends! What began as a torrential downpour turned into gorgeous sunshine and a beautiful blue Lake Tahoe background. I love how our wedding had special details that represented us. We had a candy bar, photo booth, surprise games for guests, custom wine and water bottle labels and matches that said “I’ve Met My Match”. It’s true, I’ve met my match and the most wonderful part of the entire day was becoming Mrs. Power and marrying the love of my life! I can’t wait to start our life together as husband and wife!
