We have been certified "Green Business" by the County of Marin. We have in place an extensive recycling program including recycling receptacles in our guest rooms. Bath amenity dispensers in guest rooms for body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Occupancy sensors using infra-red and motion detection to control our guest room heaters and A/C units. Installed Ozone generator in hotel laundry which uses ozone in place of bleach and reduces hot water usage by 95% and overall water usage by 30%. Towel and linen reuse program for in-house guests. Use of "salt chlorine generation" system to disinfect the pool as opposed to liquid chlorine. Motion detectors in store rooms and public bathrooms to shut off lighting when not in use. When possible, purchase recycled products.
