Blanchard Chapel provides a traditional Sanctuary with a cathedral ceiling and original pews, an ante room, one adjoining reception room and another larger reception area. Each reception area contains kitchen, tables, chairs, and many other amenities. Additionally, there are many options for outdoor events in the chapel’s seven acre meadow along Colony Creek, with Blanchard Mountain as a scenic backdrop.
The Chapel offers the beauty and charm of a traditional church wedding while accommodating a wide variety of individual preferences with total flexibility. We have hosted ceremonies from many nationalities and themes, adorable doggie attendants are welcomed, and couples have even requested to ride up on horseback or to arrive from a hang glider.
We welcome spontaneous to elaborate events, civil ceremonies, religious vows of any faith, commitment ceremonies, renewals of vows, wedding anniversaries, music recitals and plays, as well as many other diverse events. Blanchard Chapel is a quaint and unique event location, with a long history of happy events. The steeple's original church bell rings after a wedding ceremony today, just as it has for nearly the last hundred years.
