Tong and I wanted to have a wedding that reflected our relationship and personalities. We decided to take our wedding budget and rent Villa Cascada in Ocotal Beach, Costa Rica for a week for our immediate family and closet friends. Even though our wedding is out of the country, planning went smooth. The only stress that I experienced was finding a photographer. I was not able to find a photographer in Costa Rica who met the needs and standards I was looking for in a photographer. While I continued the search for a photographer in Costa Rica, my fiancé and I decided to find a photographer in Orange County who would not only take our engagement photos, but also a formal bridal picture.  I found Bleu Cotton Photography. I went on their website to view their photos and what was very impressed with the photos taken in Greece. I met with Alison Cotton to discuss what we were looking for in a photographer, prices, etc. After explaining to her my dilemma on finding an on location photographer, she suggested for us to use them in Costa Rica. My fiancé and I thought about it for a few weeks and realized that the wedding we are planning in Costa Rica is a moment in our lives we will only experience once. So, why leave it in the hands of an amateur photographer, because he is only $500?  We went back to Bleu Cotton and made arrangements for them to join us for our wedding week to capture a milestone in our family’s, our friend’s, and our lives.
