Bliss by Sam Weddings & Occasions is a wedding and event planning firm based in Durham, North Carolina. The consultants specialize in creating unique, trendy and memorable events. No two brides are alike and keeping that in mind allows the BBS to propose individualized and creative suggestions that will make a big impact on your guests.

Any 5-star hotel’s concierge is paid to be the ultimate insider. Concierges peruse museum exhibits, attend gallery openings, dine at impossible-to-get-a-table-at restaurants and see the newest shows--all to be able to tell you what's worth seeing, doing and eating. They are charged to make the impossible, possible. That expansive knowledge is available to any guest, yet, you’re own your own after their recommendation.

The staff at Bliss is dedicated to being your wedding and event concierge; however, our consultants take this service the extra mile and see you through until end of your event. Listed below is a list of services we can provide to you and/or the event’s host:

The Engagement

In-person meetings for advice and support
Budget development
Guest Management
Assist with choosing innovative wedding colors, theme & style
Venue selection
Vendors
Reception planning (décor, menu, rentals, etc.)
Stationary (Invitations, Programs, etc.)
Etiquette Guidance
Create a detailed Wedding Day Itinerary which will be mailed to all participants at least two weeks in advance
Ceremony consultation and guidance

The Wedding Weekend

Rehearsal coordination
Confirm vendor arrivals and serve as the main point of contact
Disperse final gratuities/payments
Ensure itinerary is executed and handle any last minute details
Assist couple and bridal party as needed
Transport small items as needed
Ensure all flowers are dispersed per the floral agreement
Ensure cake top, gifts, etc. are secured by the designated person
Ensure to-go food is packed for the couple
Complete use of our emergency kit
