Chrissy and Karl were married at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church and had their wedding reception at the Liberty Station Marriott in San Diego. This was a wedding that I was referred to by one of my favorite wedding coordinators and she was totally right. This was a great match! What a fun Day! Traci and Jay decided that, being from the area, downtown LA was the place for their engagement pictures. Traci and Jay are really cool people, fun to hang out with and they were super ambitious about their engagement pictures! The entire shoot revolved around downtown Los Angeles. We started around Central Library and from there made are way to the Museum of Contemporary Art, Angels Flight and Union Station.
More fun was added to the day as I brought along a new toy… This was my first time ever using the Lens Baby in the field. I like the few shots I got with it and look forward to using it more in the future!
In addition to hanging out with Traci, Jay and my new Lens Baby I was joined by my former assistant and good friend from our undergrad days at Brooks Institute of Photography… Alabama wedding photographer Breanna Conley.

Eirka and Dominic first met each other in Huntington Beach so they thought it would be the perfect place for their engagement pictures. I agree! New Years Eve Wedding!!! Meagen and Austin’s was my first ever wedding at Levyland Estates and I love it! This venue offers modern architecture mixed with rustic fields and a beautiful beach! The only element not on our side for this wedding was the fog that rolled in just before the ceremony. Mother nature will do as she does and we made the best of it by substituting the bright sunny stuff for some interior and exterior night time imagery. I think we achieved a unique look and were able to use the architecture of Levlyand Estate to our benefit. Check out some of my favorites…
