(more...)We had the great pleasure of photographing Misty and Jeff’s wedding at the Starlight Room in Downtown Dallas yesterday. You may remember them from our recent engagement session! Misty and Jeff had a tent set up outside the Starlight room- which was a wonderful idea considering it rained on and off the whole day! The ceremony was beautiful- a friend of the couple read from The Velveteen Rabbit which we thought was really sweet! Here is one of the lines she read:
“Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don’t matter at all, because once you are Real you can’t be ugly, except to people who don’t understand.”

Blue Sunshine Photography has teamed up with River Legacy Foundation, and A Wish With Wings to help with their photo station @ After Dark in The Park on Thursday October 8th!

The event, geared for children ages 2 to 10, offers a glimpse of River Legacy Living Science Center’s education programs and features unique activities, such as a children’s craft and activities area, storytelling under the stars, a pumpkin patch and hayrides.
Each year, we’re open exclusively to local organizations serving disabled and disadvantaged children on the Thursday prior to After Dark in the Park. Everything from admission to pumpkins to concessions is free for these children and their families. It’s a wonderful opportunity for our sponsors to support River Legacy Foundation and the many other agencies that serve area families.
