Burel Photography is an on location children's, maternity, newborn, high school seniors, event and family photographer.

Hello, I am Scott Burel, Photographer and owner of Burel Photography. We are located about 30 miles north east of Atlanta in the city of Grayson, GA. I purchased my first Canon AE-1 over 17 years ago and when that first roll came back from the developer I was hooked. I experimented, trial and error, nothing formal but with the ever growing internet I was up to speed on all the bells and whistles in no time. As the digital age came I soon made the move over and to tell the truth I have never looked back.

I have had the liberty to travel to most of our beautiful states and places abroad. My passion is outdoor and location photography. Landscape, flowers, animals, people, architecture, structure and abstract elements top my favorites. I shoot in my own incognito style, impromptu photography. I have adapted a technique I read about from Annie Leibovitz's mother, "don't look at the camera". I like to shoot events as they happen, not staged.
